I applaud you for taking this step. No matter the season you're living in, I'm here to meet you where you are at on your journey.
I work with people who have experienced complex trauma and feel stuck in patterns of survival. My approach has been described as gentle and affirming. I help clients navigate the impact of early and prolonged trauma, foster self-compassion, and build a sense of a security and connection in their daily lives. I focus on somatic work, helping you feel safer in your body, relationships and emotions as you move toward healing.
As cheesy as it sounds, I believe healing isn't linear. It's real and messy. It takes courage to be gentle with ourselves and to show up for our needs each day. My goal as a therapist is to provide you with the tools to live your most fulfilling life.
Along with somatic work, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I also implement modalities, such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic work, and relational healing.
I graduated from Husson University with my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2022. Prior to becoming a mental health counselor, I worked in a variety of settings in the mental health field providing crisis services, case management, and 1-1 support.
In my free time you will find me enjoying what Maine has to offer in the great outdoors. I love hiking, kayaking, yoga, and being creative. I'm often outside adventuring with my dog, Daisy; or curled up reading a book with my cat, Sage.

You may see these two pop into a session once in awhile.
